YOUR HR DEPT. VIETNAM would like to guide to install and use VssID for employees and people participating in social insurance (SI) and health insurance (HI) in Vietnam, for reference.
Accordingly, VssID – Digital Social Insurance is a product of the digital transformation ecosystem of Vietnam Social Insurance provided on the App Store – IOS operating system and Google Play – Android operating system on smartphones to serve participants of social insurance (SI), unemployment insurance (UI), health insurance (HI).
VssID application provides information and utilities related to the process of paying and enjoying social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance policies of participants; help look up information about social insurance codes; health establishments sign contracts for medical examination and treatment covered by insurance; collection points, collection agents for voluntary social insurance and household health insurance; 24/7 online support and a number of other utilities such as: News on the social insurance activities, new information on policies, benefits, obligations and how to participate in social insurance and health insurance.
At the same time, towards the integration of replacing health insurance books and cards in medical examination and treatment; directly control expenses for medical examination and treatment and medicine provided for themselves; re-issue health insurance cards and social insurance books at any place; relocate to enjoy pensions and social insurance benefits; change the form of receiving pension, social insurance benefits or change beneficiary information (no need to go to the social insurance agency).
Install VssID for smartphones through 5 steps:
Step 1: Prepare a portrait photo, the front and back photo of the identity card or citizen identity card, the social insurance book number (or the last 10 digits of the health insurance card code).
Step 2: Download VssID from Google Play/CH Play app store (Android operating system) or App Store (IOS operating system) to your phone.
Step 3: Register an account using VssID: To be able to use all the utility functions of the VssID application, users need to register for personal electronic transactions with the social insurance agency.
Step 4: Submit the electronic declaration (form 01): After clicking the “Send” button, the declaration will be sent to the email address of the registrant.
Step 5: The Vietnam Social Insurance Public Service Portal sends a message to the registrant’s phone number.
Note: When the registrant receives the message “Step 5” (if the declaration is valid) within 90 days (from the date of receiving the message), please go to the nearest Social Insurance Agency’s Receipt Section to sign the Declaration and complete the registration process using VssID.
